Let's Talk Housing
For too long outside forces intent on setting their own agenda have shaped the national debate around the work that housing associations do and the customers that live in their homes.
Let’s Talk Housing provides a platform for senior figures within housing to take control of the debate and to open a meaningful dialogue with politicians, journalists and the wider public to challenge perceptions.
Challenging times
Housing associations are experiencing turbulent times. They face an increasingly hostile political climate – while their reputation has taken a battering at the hands of the press.
To secure their future landlords need to find new ways of tell their story to politicians, decision makers and parts of the media that do not understand the vital role they play… that’s where Let’s Talk Housing comes in.
Throughout 2017 we’ll be hosting a series of regional events that bring together a combination of:
• Senior housing association professionals
• Politicians
• Media representatives
• Industry experts
• Tenants
• Influential figures from outside our sector
Leading the debate
We can also work with individual landlords to identify stakeholders, influencers and politicians that you want to engage with in your area, and help you to open a dialogue.
We build a campaign around your needs, and create the right platform to discuss the issues that matter to you, including:
• Regional events designed to let you lead the debate on the issues that matter
• Events in Parliament
• Research papers
• Roundtable meetings targeting local issues
