Housing
As a supplier of low-carbon and highly efficient heat solutions to UK social housing landlords, Daikin was also keen to bring the industry together to discuss, debate and find solutions to issues such as tenant fuel poverty (particularly rural fuel poverty), reducing landlord reliance on traditional fuels and the recently introduced Government Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme.
Frontier PR established the Green Housing Forum concept, and brand identity and then set about organising the first event with Herefordshire-based housing association – Two Rivers Housing.
A media partnership was established with leading monthly 24 Housing Magazine – which committed to promoting, attending and supporting the event with on and offline editorial and advertising.
Twitter was used both pre event (to connect with presenters, delegates and host), during the event in the form of live tweets and questions – and post through the circulation of an event covering all the themes of the day.
Frontier PR also took responsibility for event promotion – ensuring we put the right ‘bums on seats’ – namely asset and sustainability managers with the ability to make a difference on the ground.
