Leading timber windows and doors manufacture NorDan, has appointed Frontier Public Relations to assist in the acceleration of its profile and growth in the UK construction and housing markets
NorDan has been producing some of Europe’s highest specification timber windows and doors, since the company was first established by the current family owners in Norway almost a century ago.
Originally designed to withstand the brutal climatic realties of a Nordic maritime winter, NorDan’s products have since earned a reputation for high-design and durability.
Part of Frontier PR’s brief will be to help key markets better understand the unique aluminium and timber composition of NorDan’s solutions, a fabric that is so hardwearing, its products have a minimum 60 year life expectancy.
NorDan is also keen to share and enlarge on its long held, long-term approach to sustainability, as well as challenge certain myths and preconceptions around timber as a sustainable building material.
NorDan’s Senior Marketing Manager David Gillon comments: “We’re delighted to welcome Frontier PR as part of our marketing team, and I’m certain that their knowledgeable and specialist approach to public relations will be of real value moving forward.
“NorDan UK has made steady progress since first establishing its presence in the north of Scotland in the early 1980s, but the time is now right for the company to really accelerate its growth, and were seeking to double our UK turnover in three years.
“Why? Because a shift to longer term thinking that values all aspects of a products quality and carbon footprint is making NorDan a natural fit for old and new buildings.”
Frontier Public Relations Managing Director David Innes-Edwards agrees: “UK construction is increasingly prioritising quality, durability and calculating the whole-life cost of building materials and solutions.
“NorDan’s unique heritage and products means it is well set to satisfy a market that is increasingly valuing environmental and financial sustainability – there’s a timely and highly relevant story for Frontier PR to tell, and we’re delighted to be on-board.”
Frontier PR will be working with NorDan to deliver a blend of media relations and content marketing.
