The Your Call Manchester event, which is being co-hosted by Contour Homes, will bring together senior customer service personnel working in housing, along with IT and service delivery specialists, to look at current challenges and opportunities facing the social housing sector.
The event will be held at Contour Homes’ Manchester office on Tuesday 12th July from 9am and 1:30pm and will provide best practice and knowledge sharing on how housing providers can take advantage of digital applications and include more of their tenants. The event will also see roundtable discussions on the diversification of channels, personalisation and staff empowerment through technology, as well as presentations from Contour Homes’ Director of Neighbourhoods, Andrew Brown, and Omfax Director and Your Call founder, Peter Graddon.
"There has been significant change within customer services over the last few years”, says Peter Graddon, “with far greater focus being placed on customer service design, automation and self-service.
“As an example, research carried out by Your Call indicates that more than half of housing association contact centres now routinely manage social media and just under half have a tenant portal. However, there is still more to do. A significant proportion of providers have yet to integrate digital services alongside their existing phone and face-to-face contact channels, and more could be done to improve overall efficiency in relation to call handling."
He continues: “The Your Call event provides that necessary industry networking and discussion in a time of change on the state of customer service operations and what the future holds for the sector.”
