The Innovation in Independent Living seminars are an opportunity for housing and care professionals to hear from the exclusive developers of Beanbag Care, Securer Meters’ suite of intelligent in-home monitoring care solutions.
Delegates can sign-up to forty-five minute sessions on either the 13th or 14th July to discover how Beanbag Care can work for social landlords – while webinars on 20th and 21st July will cover technology for those delivering extra care and supported living.
The online events will comprise of two jargon free presentations covering how new, 24/7 connected smart technology is improving the quality of care – plus plenty of time for people to ask questions. All four events will start at 11am, and are free and available to all who resister in advance.
Paul Botsford, Head of Assisted Living Technology & Services at Secure Meters comments: “We’re really pleased to have another opportunity to talk care technology with the people tasked with caring for older people.
“Our spring homecare business webinars were really well received, so we were keen to broaden out the conversation to now include social landlords and extra care and supported living. “Although there’s lots of crossover between these markets, we’ve decided to focus on housing and extra care separately, with dedicated webinars for each market.
Paul explains: “Obviously many landlords own and manage increasing numbers of extra care facilities, but they also have responsibility or a much broader range of older people living in traditional homes, so are faced with a very wider set of challenges.
“No matter what your levels of technology deployment or planning at this stage, these webinars should prove a quick way to learn a little bit more.
