The two and three-bedroom houses are being built on a brownfield site at Holt Street in Worsley Mesnes, Wigan, and will be available for affordable rent once completed.
Each property will be delivered to a high specification, embracing a design scheme that matches neighbouring properties. All properties benefit from private gardens and off road parking.
The houses will benefit from state-of-the-art energy efficiency features, including full external wall and loft insulation, to help tenants save money on energy bills.
Holt Street is the second project the family-owned contractor has worked on for Wigan Council, having recently completed nearby Riding Close – the £9.4m development which has created 81 new homes for affordable rent on the site of a disused council vehicle depot at Hindley Green.
