Nicky Harris - development manager, Halton Housing Trust with Duncan Williams - regional director (North West), SeddonSeddon’s regional director for the North West, Duncan Williams, spent the day with colleagues Steve Foster and Karl Roberts from the company’s direct services team working alongside Halton Housing Trust’s project manager for development, Nick Anderson, at the Latham Avenue site in Runcorn.

The group helped bricklayers, joiners and other Seddon tradespeople carry out vital work on the £9.4 million project and learnt more about their specific roles in the process.

Duncan Williams said: “As well as being great fun, our ‘Back to the Tools’ day is about staying connected to our employees, at all levels of the business, and being as close as possible to our clients’ projects. By understanding the importance of each role and the skill involved, we can continuously improve staff experiences on site and enhance the way Seddon works as a team.”

Nick Anderson, Halton Housing Trust, said: “The work at Latham Avenue is one of the largest housing schemes we have embarked on in Runcorn, providing much needed, high quality homes for the local community.
