PRide at Frontier PR following CIPR award nomination

Manchester-based B2B PR agency is nominated for best not-for-profit campaign

Frontier Public Relations has been shortlisted for a top public relations award for its work in the social housing sector.

The specialist business-to-business PR agency has been recognised in the not-for-profit category of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ PRide North West awards for its work with City West Housing Trust.

City West – part of the ForViva housing group, which owns and manages 18,000 homes across the North West – wanted to lead the debate on the complex challenge of integrating health, social care and housing services.

Frontier PR utilised its specialist knowledge of the social housing sector to create a campaign that would place the landlord at the centre of the public policy issue.

City West received wide spread coverage throughout the campaign, which included its newly built Amblecote Gardens extra care facility being used as a case study on ITV’s News at Ten to show how the devolution of powers the Manchester could lead to better integrated health and housing services.

David Innes-Edwards, Managing Director of Frontier Public Relations, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Frontier PR has been recognised for our work in one of the agency’s specialist sectors.

“Our campaign has been a great success, and having worked closely with City West since 2013, we’ve been able to cement them as a key voice in the important issue of integrating health, social care and housing services.”

The North West CIPR PRide awards ceremony takes place on Thursday, 5 November 2015 at The Midland Hotel, Manchester.
