Frontier has its moment with two PR award short-listings

Frontier Public Relations has been short-listed for two awards at one of the industry’s top prize giving nights.

The business-to-business agency has been recognised by the PR Moment awards for projects conducted over the past year in two of its specialisms.

The firm, which specialises in housing, construction and sustainability, received the nominations for projects with builder and developer Seddon, and social housing provider City West Housing Trust.

Frontier has been shortlisted in the ‘B2B Campaign of the Year’ for its work with Seddon, who wanted to lead the conversation in apprenticeship training.

The company, which is family-owned and has an annual turnover of £200 million, has taken on apprentices for the last 80 years, and tasked Frontier with building Seddon’s reputation as a leading light in apprenticeship training.

The ‘Building Skills’ campaign achieved all of its targets, reinforcing Seddon’s key messages to the target press and cementing lasting relationships with trade organisations.

Frontier was also recognised in the ‘Not-for-Profit’ category for its work with City West Housing Trust on their ‘For Future Living’ campaign.

City West – part of the ForViva housing group, which owns and manages 18,000 homes across the North West – wanted to lead the debate on the complex challenge of integrating health, social care and housing services.

Frontier PR utilised its specialist knowledge of the social housing sector to create a campaign that would place the landlord at the centre of the public policy issue.

City West received widespread coverage throughout the campaign, which included its newly built Amblecote Gardens extra care facility being used as a case study on ITV’s News at Ten to show how the devolution of powers the Manchester could lead to better integrated health and housing services.

David Innes-Edwards, Managing Director of Frontier Public Relations, said: “I’m thrilled that Frontier PR has been recognised for work in two of the agency’s specialist sectors.

“The campaigns show that we are unrivaled in our knowledge of the social housing and construction sectors, and make use of our expertise by producing campaigns that deliver for our clients.”

The Northern PR Moment awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday, 9 March 2016 at The Hilton Hotel, Manchester.
